Out of what I’ve noticed these matchbox pinholes capture a surreal images and I wanted to show that. So I’ve decided to place myself a bit far away from the picture, to give a feel of isolation. I’ve decided not to use a prop because it would completely go against the reason for my captured picturez. The way I’m shown in my picture is to not show anything passionate in particular. I didn’t want to express myself in any kind of way because I felt other ways of inspiration will be filled in the picture because of the way a pinhole pictures captures objects/beings.
The diagram below is what I used to know how I will get my full picture. To find the correct measurements I had to use math, specifically a type of geometry. This unit is called “Similar Triangles”. First I identified what I knew was given to me, and that was: Line AB and line DE are parallel to each other. Knowing this piece of information means that all of my alternating angles will be the same, because if a parallel line intersects with another line that means the angles of such intersection will all equal to 180. Which makes the lines become straight and parallel to each other again. Lastly I found the correct postulate for the two triangles. To find this I realized; Triangle ABC is similar to Triangle DEC. This is called the AA postulate (Angle Angle Postulate).
In this project I learned that when doing certain projects if you mess up the tiniest thing it will completely mess up your whole project. If I would have known that I don't think I should've done such a sloppy job on the whole project.
