In this essay I received a 2. I tried to reach all of the requirements (while avoiding some), but the main reason I think I received my score was because I never felt passionate about my essay and I think my work is boring. Although I did miss a few bit on past tense errors I think I did alright.
This Semester on the subject of writing I've learned how to write a formal essay. The essay had to have: An Introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The introduction had to have; a grabber, something that catches your attention, background information, a bit of info on your subject, and a thesis, a statement with a subject and an opinion. When I used to write I always had a ton of edits to do and my assignments would be hardly readable. Now they've gotten better because I've practiced a lot more. Now instead of things getting better there has also been things getting worse, such as my ability to write a interesting essay. When I write an essay I get all the expectations done and just turn it in the way it is. That doesn't work for me because now I have to make my essays have meaning to them. For a bit of goals I would like to be more thorough on my writing so it will have more meaning. I would also like to revise my work to a bigger extent.
